He just spent 3 nights in the hospital.

It was serious enough to in fact dominate his life

Facts are facts. What are you more likely to die from?

If you are elderly, in a nursing home, with other complicating factors, then yes, Covid rises to the top.

For the overwhelming vast majority of the rest of us, use precautions, but get on with our lives, you are most likely going to die from something else.

I'm with ya on the fear part, but unfortunately many politicians and people aren't. For the politicians with the heavy authoritative stance, they are ruining people's lives needlessly.

Is likely that covid led my to stroke which is easily the toughest thing I've ever had to deal with and at times I wish I could give up today is an example I went 2 miles on the bike and I'm hurtin'

but I'm alive and life comes with pain. sometimes its reminder you're alive

I'm going to a political luncheon tomorrow ,always dreaded those meetings but it was part of the job now I see it as a challenge .

I don't like going out in public because I'm embarrassed I'm a current physical condition but I tell myself I'm not important enough to be embarrassed because I walk or talk funny.

So COVID did land a couple of punches maybe hit me for a standing 8 count, I didn't wear a mask I still don't I always washed my hands that was a habit from doing so many public functions and shaking so many hands is a part of my job. There's no reason to be afraid it salready took it best shot at me...and

You think he could run? Obviously I can't but I guarantee you I can get around a lot faster than he does.

So what are you saying? Although Covid could have resulted in you having to deal with the toughest thing you ever had to deal with there is no reason for people to take simple precautions?

I guess I just don't understand why its so hard for people to just show some courtesy. I rather wear a mask than to be around someone, without one, who then goes around someone older in their family who then later dies from COVID. No matter what, I would be concerned that I could have had it, passed it to that person who then gave it to their loved one.

It could be other people that person was around as well, but it just doesn't bother me to wear a mask even if there is a 10% chance, if I am asymptomatic, that I could spread it to others.

I forgot an O.. Get over it.

And I am well aware of the the title. My point is, you can be aware and not be afraid and not let it dominate your life.

Just like riding in a vehicle. Do you worry every time you get in, that you could get in a wreck and die? No. But you put on your seatbelt because you are aware something can happen and that if something does, it could save your life.

do you call the police if you see someone driving without a seatbelt?

The mask thing is so stupid because out in public when the sheep will see someone not wearing a mask they freak out yet those people aren't wearing gloves on their hands I don't see them washing their hands thiose grubby little hands touching everything within reach, the general public is gross they were before covid and they will continue you to be,,,there will always be risk

if you're afraid ,,stay home
