I set a termite trap in the crawlspace of my house. They get stuck in the wooden floor joists, where they seem incapable of escaping. Dumb termites.

OP was right. I’ve sent them for a few weeks but they are swarming tonight.

None in Metairie near me. If any, hardly noticeable. Yet.

(Mandeville) After quickly cutting all lights they seem to have moved on. Only saw one fluttering inside, but noticing some dried dead ones this morning.

It’s only taken 8 posts to determine “termites” are the subject of the entire thread.

Talk about failing at life. SMH

OP should go back to elementary school and try learning this time!

Curious, why?
Regardless, I wish mine was squared away enough to do that we open and close the door with the quickness, for now (just finished renovations and had to pack it with stuff).

I read about it, didn’t see anything. Mentioned to my wife. And minutes later was one crawling on my shirt. Then quickly shut down lights.

our garage door sort of functions as the main entry-exit for our house based on where our front door is situated and where we park, etc. my kids are in and out through there all the time with their bikes and stuff, plus i'm out tehre a lot just tinkering around with whatever. i dont know really, it's just sort of how things have worked out. plus i keep it fairly organized.
