Need help. If the center of the earth is so hot why is the bottom of the ocean so cold?

Thermal vents are ridiculously hot
Like 700 degrees
This snail lives on them
The ocean is vast and no sunlight penetrates the briny deep

If the moon weighed anything, why doesn't it fall on us?

You realize how far away the middle of the earth is from even the deepest ocean?

The "bottom of the ocean" is plenty far enough away from the sun (given light and heat has to make it through the water) to be cold, but nowhere near close enough to the center of the flat Earth to be warmed by it.

Imma say it's because the center of the Earth is over 47,000,000 feet from the sea level surface and the deepest known point in any ocean is only 35,000 feet from the sea level surface.

In other words, the bottom of the ocean still isn't very close to the center of the Earth.

Molten iron is not magnetic.
Iron loses magnetism at that heat.

Sure. Get Tucker to help you dig a hole to the middle and find out yourself. All you need is some meth and he will get right on it.

Very silly question.

The center of the earth is a very long distance to the part of the earth that intersects ocean water, and by then is quite cool.

The oceans are topically cooled by many known sources, including season and sunlight, or a lack of sunlight.

Also, temperatures cool off in water 50x faster than air.

Why are the highest peaks the coldest? They're closest to the sun.
