People who return their food everywhere they eat

My older sister is one of those people who returns something every time she eats out. I won't go anywhere to eat with her. The only exception is when she makes a recommendation as to where to eat and we go there. Of course, her recommendation is always the type of place where you should return the food.
We had a family "let's drive all the old cars somewhere for breakfast" run to Farmersville, Texas. The place was great, but the menu was on a chalkboard. My Dad ate the same thing for breakfast every morning. But, my sister kept asking for a written menu. She finally flounced "WELL I GUESS I"LL HAVE TO READ THIS ENTIRE BOARD TO HIM." I looked over at Dad and said "you want two scrambled eggs, bacon and wheat toast? " "Yes." The order taker heard it and we were done. Older sister didn't speak to me for a month. The order taker thought it was hilarious.

Anyone who sends their food back at a place like Applebees or Cheddars deserves to have their food spit on and teabagged!

My grandma was like this. Especially with soup, she’d ALWAYS send back soup for “not being hot enough”

I know a few people who I end up eating out with often who can NEVER order something directly off the menu. They have to have it customized.

But to your point, I have a family member who will do this, and he will talk shite where the wait staff can hear it. I've gotten into with him and basically told him that as long as my food is on the other side of the counter/back of the house he needs to keep his damn mouth shut.

Savvy restaurants ask 'how's your food' or 'is your food cooked to your liking' shortly after you've had a few bites. That way you cant eat 80% of it then complain and get it taken off the bill.

I saw a group of people one time at Red Robin send a hamburger back twice. I don't know what was on it the first two times but I sure as heck wouldn't eat it the 3rd time
