Halcion....talk to your doctor about it.

To be specific alot of my onset insomnia was due to anxiety about not falling asleep on time. Halcion has been a game changer

Im in the same boat however I now have a sleep doctor and she (no pics) if very good at changing my medications. Perhaps you should look into finding a sleep doctor.

Cut back your caffeine intake combined with nothing but water 6 hours from before you sleep. Worked wonders for me - I now get 7 hours without any meds or supplements.

Meditation apps are helpful. Try a 10+ minute sleep meditation, it helps to clear your mind so your thoughts aren't racing.

I sleep better when I don't drink. If I have any alcohol, I almost always wake up 3-4 hours after I fall asleep.

Use a loud fan or a white noise machine.

The Olly Melatonin gummies are helpful to fall asleep when needed, but they don't necessarily lead to a full nights sleep.

I will also read a book until my eyes get heavy. Works better than starting at your phone or the tv.

well this is terrifying. I have taken so much benadryl over the years for allergies.

I’ve been taking 2 advil PM every night for 10 years. I Sleep 7 hours, hard. Without it, my brain is up 1-2 hours before I can relax and I wake up constantly

Advil PM is my go to but I only do it when my sleep cycle is not great for 2 or 3 days in a row. Generally, back pain is what wakes me up, but when I take advil PM at night, I wake up relatively pain free. I took it for a week one time and stopped and it seemed like my body was somewhat acclimating.

I’m on trazadone and melatonin, it’s better than nothing but I don’t get 6-7 hours.

Nah it's okay. It's more so you don't need to to take 4mg of benzos a day. .25 and .5 doses are fine.

I pop two flexarell and two benadryl most nights. Or a Xanax or Ativan… I usually am ready to sleep by 10ish and I take meds about 7/8 and then lay in bed and watch tv. Wake up fine next morning…

there is research to support microdosing of benzos but no one should expect the dinosaur psychiatrists of louisiana to know

not that i blame them, some a-hole always ruins it for everyone by taking the whole container at once etc

Zaleplon. It works great for me. Doesn't give me the "hangover" effect that an Ambien does, plus if I need to wake up, I'm fine. The dosage I take only lasts about 4 hours, which helps me fall into a deep sleep.

C'Mon man! Don't do drugs. Some red wine and some Jameson will do the trick.
