So now they're giving championship rings to little league kids?

WTF is this shite? My nephew came over and he had a big arse ring that looked like something you get when you win the Super Bowl. His dad, my brother (who ironically hates sports) said their team won some kinda of championship for their travel ball team. They got a gold medal as well. The kid is 11 years old for crying out loud.

Yea and their trashy parents make them shake jugs in traffic and start gofundme accounts to pay for their travel to tournaments.

But hey, at least they can upload pics to Facebook of 8 year old Johnny and his championship rings from coach pitch ball

Maybe you'd rather those kids out and about smoking pots and drinking underage.

Yeah, they used to give trophies for tourney champs and runners up. The rings are cheaper.

Why do you care? The kid will forget about it in a week.. Not much different from a medal.. Winner gets the spoils..

No. That's the weird part. My brother and his wife both couldn't care less about sports. I didn't even know they were doing the travel ball thing, granted they live in Southern California. Apparently the kid played on some little league team last year and then wanted to do it this year. They have a 7 year old daughter that is playing coaches pitch and I knew about that because it was on Facebook. My brother dislikes that the boy is not mechanically inclined. They rarely post anything of the boy on Facebook.

It'll give kid something once he gets older to pawn online when he gets in a pinch.

So, he can buy his drugs/alcohol/whores to support his addiction to suppress his feelings of resentment toward his parents for forcing him to live a life they are trying to live vicariously through him to find meaning in their own sad and pathetic lives.

Once at the height of recreational fame, he descended into playground obscurity, alienating those closest to him and trading his championship ring to fund a two bag a day Sour Patch Kids habit.

Tonight on 30 for 30 presented by RecesSPN...
