Sperm donor sued for child support

Does anyone know what legal loophole she is getting him with? Absolutely insane that someone ask for the sperm, then sues you for your willingness to help with fertility and wham get sued for thousands.

State governments have a bias towards allowing that kind of bullshite, because it saves them money on welfare benefits. It's a very fricked up invasion of contract.
ETA: If I recall correctly, the "loophole" is that child support is deemed paid to the child, not the mother. As such, the mother can't contract away the child's right to receive support from their biological father.

Yeah that's something that seems like it would be VERY clearly worked out in the legal language of donating/receiving from a clinic.
And if this is legit and actually happening, then clinics are about to see a pretty sharp decline in donations I'd imagine.

While I would definitely appeal, in the meantime I would make her life absolutely miserable, legally. I would file for full custody of the child, even if I didn't want the kid. Just to spite her. Maybe if she thinks she could lose the kid, or have to share custody, she would drop the whole thing.

I would think this is the important part. If he donated to the sperm bank his deal is with the sperm bank. He shouldn't have a "contract" with the end user.

If I remember correctly, I don't even think they sued. I think the state sued him for child support b/c the kid was going on Medicaid. Or I may be remembering a similar scenario.
Note: if your biological child gets Medicaid, the state will do everything in its power to (1) have you pay child support and (2) get the child on private insurance.

This is fake. She had a post before where she said she doesn’t work and she’s a lesbian so she wanted to have a baby to support her. She said that she took it to court and lost, but is appealing because now she’s famous and maybe a judge will like her. TikTok

Same, I found a youtube video discussing it to see what the woman was talking about, but it just said the entire thing was made to drive up tiktok views.
