I have a serious allergy to TiO2 that took me years to identify.
I am just getting over a serious reax to this useless shite. The sad fact is this shite is put into products we ingest just to make the products brighter or whiter so they can sell more of it.
You are no different than a dope pusher.

Glad we are finally catching up with Europe. They already ban a lot of ingredients that our FDA does not and let's is consume and get sick.

red 40....contains benzene
How tf is this allowed.
I'm not a nanny state guy, but benzene is absolutely linked to leukemia etc..
Nothing with detectable benzene should be allowed in food.

They frick with my Doritos and I’m gonna go on a shooting spree.

In Europe, they use things like beet root and other natural fruits to make their Skittles that color. I’m sure it tastes exactly the same so it really is crazy they are allowed to use some of these ingredients. A few weeks ago I was enjoying a speared pickle from a jar I bought and saw it had yellow dye in the ingredients. Haven’t eaten one since, why the hell does my jar of pickles need to be dyed more yellow. I’d encourage everyone to start giving the ingredient lists a quick scan before buying, there’s an app called Yuka you can scan the barcodes of shite and it’ll tell you if it has good or harmful ingredients

Are there actually thousands of snack foods?
Posted on 4/19/24 at 6:04 am to FLTech
We are a capitalist country. Those items are made by some of the largest companies in the world. Money talks, they will not be banned

So gross to begin with.
We don’t need a ban. We need common sense.

Thousands of popular snacks could be banned due to ingredients that are linked to cancer as bills continue to advance in multiple states, the Daily Mail reports.
All of which are already prohibited in multiple European countries due to suspected health risks.
Maybe they will start selling the European versions of their shite that supposedly tastes better than what's sold here.

actually don't mind this. I hate that we have to legislate out ingredients that are proven to be non- beneficial at best, and out right bad for every human being at worst, but they are 100% non-necessary. Little Tommy doesn't care if his star marshmellows are a little less yellow or his Fanta isn't electric orange. He'll still drink it.
This right here. This isn’t like limiting beef consumption for bullshite “climate change” reasons. These ingredients are unnecessary, artificial, and proven harmful. This is something the Federal Government should absolutely be doing.

This is a rabbit hole that will end up pissing you off when you see these companies sell their products in Europe without these chemicals but still include them in the US.

I consume nearly all of those on the regular. How much time do I have left?

Uh, no. The snack foods are not facing bans. Fatties everywhere will still be able to eat their favorite crap. The manufacturers will just have to substitute yellow dye number 7 for yellow yellow number 6.

You ever noticed how Fanta in Europe is the same color as orange juice and Fanta in the US is neon? ..

Red40 is the devil. Started to remove that from my diet when my kid was younger. He's on the spectrum and when he had something with Red40 it would make his behavior change. Started reading about it...
The shite that they allow to be put in our food is insane, yet that same government....
Never mind.
