bayoudude, that buck is going to be a monster. Looking at that pic it only looks like a 3.5 yr old deer. Give him 2 more years and you'll have one hell of a trophy

you'll probably never see him during a hunt

We've got pics of some like that behind the house and we've never seen them during the day

My Grandpa, Dad, and Me (7) were hunting. Me and my dad together and my grandpa 400 yds away (behind a CDA ridge). My dad shot a 6pt at 8:00. Grandpa took a 6pt at 9:00. I got a 4pt at 9:30.

i got a few pics with me and my dad and our deer but none with my grandpaw, he lost interest in hunting when i was born and lost interest with age

My thoughts exactly. Most activity is nocturnal there since there are so many homes close by which is why I haven't bothered to hunt. There is a pretty decent herd though since there is all that Candie's property between us and the intracoastal that isn't hunted.

not mine, but another from our lease in MS

these are the more popular style of deer on the lease, more wide racks than tall like minee

Anyone have a good lease I can buy into? This thread is really giving me the fever I can even bring my 5th wheel if needed.

That management plan makes zero sense. Many deer will never develop that many points no matter how long the live. This will let many older smaller racked bucks stay in the gene pool.
