They are getting scared as hell. I think the brainwashed masses are coming to the realization Trump won the election and their echo chambers don’t know how to deal with it.
Trump better start packing his bags, this is going to get very good.

Well it is possible that he ran over the knife as he was driving since he did not notice said knife in his tire before he got in his car.

If his tire was slashed most modern vehicles would have a low tire pressure sensor light that would come on.

You just hate to see it, you really do. ??

I'm not saying Lawler did this himself, but I'm not saying he didn't either.
Who has all terrain tires on their vehicle and doesn't realize when one is completely flat until you get some way down the road?
If it stinks, its probably rotten.
ETA: Would have probably never happened if he and his fellow asshats wouldn't have completely ignored the citizens of this parish for so long. The time has come to answer for your wrongdoings. People will only be civil for so long while you continuously screw them.

It's time that politicians realize that they are consequences.
They've allowed to take kickbacks and put interests over the citizens.
This trend could get alot worse as long as they dont listen.

This has nothing to do with Trump or national politics and everything to do with AP’s flooding issues. AP suffered an unprecedented flood in 2016 that left tens of thousands of middle class wypipo homeless, most of which didn’t have flood insurance because they were told they wouldn’t need it. It’s 5 years later and almost nothing has been done to address the causes of the flood because the pariah President, elected overwhelmingly by the people, is being opposed by a majority of the parish council at every turn. They even attempted to change the home rule charter so that the parish president was appointed by the council rather than elected in order to actively subvert the will of the people.
What the people want is a moratorium on construction of new subdivisions and strip malls where the developer has to add soil to raise the elevation. The problem with these developments is that the areas where water was being retained previously are being built up into high ground and flooding the older developments. Until a plan can be devised that would allow those developments to happen without flooding their neighbors, the people of AP want that development halted.
The majority of the council either are real estate developers or on the take from them because they side with developers over residents 100% of the time. After the flood, new building restrictions were put in place, supposedly for all. These requirements force would-be home builders to either infill many feet of soil or build their homes on piers. However, the large subdivision developers are given variances and allowed to skirt those requirements while bubba allowing his daughter to build a house on family land next door to his has to make that sucker look like a camp at grand isle.
The obvious hypocrisy of council members running in elections to fix flooding issues then stonewalling drainage projects and land use restrictions designed to prevent and alleviate flooding, in a year with record rainfall more than double the average amount, has the peasants out in force with torches and pitchforks. shite is wild like I’ve never seen it before. Over half the council is facing recalls.

More likely he found his tire slashed, and then he ginned up the story about driving around on it, endangering his kid, for air time and sympathy.

Here is my anecdotal "evidence".
Been in my house in AP since 2001. Live on a lake lot in a subdivision that was began in 1998. The lake overflows through a weir into a coulee that meanders eventually into a nearby bayou. Always worked well.
There is a shite TON of new development around us, and most of it is from the last 2-3 years. Huge neighborhoods that were formerly bull pastures. I assume all of the new development handles overflow the same way. Forgive my non-technical description-- not my wheelhouse.
I was in this house through Katrina, Gustav, Alison, 2016-- never flooded. We had an intense 3 hour thunderstorm a couple of weeks ago (I think it was July 3), and I NEVER saw the water come up that fast.
I am nervous about the next Alison / 2016 event. I can see why folks are mad.

I see this comment get thrown around a lot. I'm still waiting for hard evidence that they or their family members were paid by the developers. Btw...Im not sticking up for these council members or Cointment; they signed up for this.

From the article:
bullshite
The second you put your vehicle in gear you'll know something isn't right

The councilman says he didn’t even realize his tire was busted, until he was driving his car with his son inside.

That and it appears his vehicle is new enough it has tire pressure monitors which will flash a big warning on his dash.
Let alone the fact the truck would have been sitting cockeyed with one tire slashed.
Absolute lies from the guy.

Probably all because he had a US Flag flying in his front yard.
