You voted for this fiscal liberal, and are begging others to do the same.
This fiscal liberal that wanted to spend MORE than Democrats.
If MAGAt understood very basic economics, you would never have supported Trump. You retards brag about his economy built on debt.

It ends up parked as wealth, which is used by corporations and rich folks to b buy houses for investment which prices the little guy out of the market.
Argentina is on the right track fiscally. Regardless of whether Joe or Donny is elected we are fricked.
We have set ourselves up for wholesale tax increases.

What kind of voodoo heresy is this?

Let me ask an honest question as a conservative. Is a budget surplus a good thing and something to be celebrated? It means the government took the citizens money and didn’t spend it for anything to better the country. What was the point in taking the taxes? Wouldn’t breaking even be better from a conservative standpoint.

I presume the surplus will be used to pay down the debt or possibly given back to the people.
It pains my soul to see Milei praised on this board. There's no way 90% of the people in this thread would even vote for the guy if given a chance. Yall had three chances to get a Paul as the nominee and blew it every time. Instead we got Romney, McCain, and Trump.......

Argentina owes the IMF about $44 billion I believe. Milei has a long road ahead of him.

If you have a $309 million surplus, but you owe $44 billion to the IMF, that doesn’t scream resounding economic success to me.

He cut 30% of the government first month in office just to get to the surplus. He has only been in office for 4 months.
He is pretty much killing it.

It’s doable if you really want it to be.
Cut foreign aid, reform USPS, cut government workforce by 10%, cut military spending by 10% (cut waste & fraud). Cut welfare to those who can work, shut down the border.
Real simple but no one is washington has the balls to do it.

Honest answer: it gives you the clear path to argue spending cuts.
