Yet there were no charges when the riots threatened white people in the Summer of BLM. The violence was encouraged. And Christians remain, according to DC, a great threat.

I think the cheering is more related to the way they are protesting by threatening others, taking over facilities and grounds, and making demands.

Not sure why this has so many down votes. When it comes to speech, many on the right did a 180 when that speech was critical of Israel. There is no way to deny this. I think people are conflating the reaction to speech with the reaction to some of these campus protests that have clearly crossed the line in various ways. I don't think there is objection to action against protestors that infringe on others. The criticism is about the reaction to speech.
