Depending on your state, anywhere from 14% to 25%.

On Fox Business just a few minutes ago.

Biden’s America sucks.

Actually I don’t think electricity is generated from fossil fuels.

I think it’s magic, like in Harry Potter stories.

Here in Ark. we just got a notice from Entergy that our bills will decreased about $10 a month on average.

fossil fuels.

Are we including petroleum in this term? That term was coined in the 1700s. Hydrocarbon, sure. Biomass, sure. But I don’t think “fossil” is an accurate term anymore. It gives the idea that we’re going to run out sometime soon, which is demonstrably false.

This isn’t directed at you, LT.

Why would you send out a notice over such a small decrease?

This post is about 9 months too late for my area. My electric bill was the lowest it’s been in more than a year this month. Still higher than the before times though.

Build more nuclear. Cheap and plentiful electricity. Probably would reverse that picture even though most of our oil comes domestically or from Canada and Mexico

Georgia Power per KwH has gone from 12.5 cents to 16.1 cents year over year on my most recent bill. That's a 29% increase in 12 calendar months. I'd happily take a $10 per month reduction at this point, going to have to turn the thermostat way up this summer.

Local solar farm under construction had an article in the local paper, lots of fluff but the most glaring thing not talked about was the initially promised reduction of electricty prices for the locality once it is connected to the grid next year. 180MW capacity but might produce around 20MW on average, will do nothing but raise prices in the long run. Local leadership is doing everthing they can to talk this up and make sure their voters think it's something special for their political bookmarks.

The increase is probably in states that have a high amount of EVs. Charging an EV at home must be expensive as hell.

Planned obsolescence. Climate change folks are winning. People just don't care enough and won't move until it personally effects them.
