Completely indecent and inappropriate comment. I’d actually say it’s also an anti-liberal comment, even if she certainly identifies as such.
To me, being a liberal first and foremost champions the idea that we all have much more in common than we have at odds. Theoretically, that idea is the foundation for the social issues the left advocates. Her comment opposes that ideal by not recognizing the humanity of either Barbara Bush herself or the grieving family, regardless of their disparate ideologies and behavior. She’d do well to take a step back here and attempt to truly understand what she purports to believe.

But not only did she fail to walk back her comments and issue an apology or even a mea culpa, she doubled down on her hate rhetoric and went into ultrasonic attack mode.
The false phone number deal will be what ultimately takes her down.
Hope it was worth it.
