You do realize you’re making their point for them, right? China influencing countries close to our border is an issue for us just like the US influencing countries on Russia's border is an issue for Russia.

Fake news. China is dying, literally. They can't even project power past the First Island Chain, much less set up shop militarily in our hemisphere to a degree that would be any sort of threat. The Chicken Littles are always saying "OMG, China has more ships than us!!!" While technically true, the vast majority of them are tiny and can't get more than 300 miles from their coast. We have them beat 4:1 in combat tonnage. Plus, they are a land power. They have no history of expeditionary naval operations, which is why everyone (Japan, Great Britain, France, and Portugal) have always had their way with them.

I don't know really what Biden is doing wrong, or what Trump coiuld do right, when it comes to this. Road and Belt was happening when Trump was president as well.
