1) An unchecked Russia will conquer Ukraine and eventually attack one of our NATO allies.
2) An unchecked China will invade Taiwan.
3) An unchecked Middle East will eliminate Israel.

What you don't realize is U.S. does not want the West buying cheap Russian energy and commodities and not using the U.S. dollar.

The Soviet Union has been gone a long time. I have seen nothing suggesting that 1. would ever happen. Face it, NATO and the US provoked this senseless war by repeatedly moving to crowd Russia and put NATO forces on its doorstep. We should have stayed out of Ukraine altogether. Now the Ukrainians are going to pay the price.
