Just make sure you don't criticize farmers at the dinner table.

My brother is a farmer. My dad was a farmer. My maternal grandfather was a farmer. I am not scared to call them out.

Trump gave the go ahead for the Ukraine vote and openly diss’ed MTG., while complimenting Johnson. Many of you missed it because you don’t follow the actual news.

This is the 1st time I have heard of the useless woman NOT voting WITH the DemProgFilth. She’s done NOTHING for conservatives in general much less anything for her state nor district.

Been saying for 2 years +, she needs to go! She’s a DemProgFilth enabler.

Farmers get 30 billion USD per year in the expiring farm bill. The farm bill is a 5 year bill so that is 150 billion over the past 5 years. Farmers have been getting some level of subsidies since 1960 so they have gotten well over a trillion dollars in just my lifetime (mid 30s). Handouts to farmers are not ending anytime soon. Ukraine has been getting aid for 2+ years. Plus most of the aid to Ukraine is military equipment, but the aid to farmers is straight cash homie.

Do we want single-issue legislation, or do we want a bajillion earmarks and pork in every bill so that every member of congress can have a community center built in some podunk village in their district?

Almost 38 million in pork for her district. She is good at brining home the bacon.

Sounds like a personal grievance.

She was supposed to offer an amendment to "get something for her district"?

You're retarded.

No we want our representative to leverage her vote to try and get something for the district. If she gets something for the district like a defense factory restoring HAWK missiles being sent to Ukraine.

38 million is peanuts. Abraham got 5 million for airports in the district in 2020. Abraham got CMS to reimburse 22 hospitals in the district that CMS underpaid. Those same 22 rural hospitals are now struggling and Letlow ain’t doing shite to help them. That’s just 2 examples of how a representative that cared for the district and was effective in improving the district.

Sorry for wanting some of my tax money coming back to the area where I grew up and still care about.

So was mine. They only get subsidies when prices are below breakeven. Obviously you learned nothing by growing up around agriculture. Without a dependable supply of food, nothing else matters.

In addition due to subsidies for low prices, there is subsidized crop insurance, programs that help pay for land leveling, planting a cover crop in the winter, and let us not forget ethanol mandates. American farmers are the world’s largest welfare queens.

When did that happen?
I think Summer of 2023. Century was only here in Monroe because of the Williams and Perry family. Now that the Denver crowd has taken over the company they never really came to Monroe.

Century is better off in Denver and The Midwest. That is where the company assets are. They do no business in Louisiana.
