I have been receiving calls from his advance teams looking for places to stay. Secret Service were the big ones last night. We did not have enough rooms for them.
Looking forward to this visit. Hope I can get into the rally.

They can land and takeoff at MLU. MLU's runway 4/22 is 7505 feet long which is long enough for the Boeing C-32. The C-32 (the aircraft that is normally associated with AF2) is basically a 757 which needs needs 6800-6900 feet to take off and land. The C-32 is also much lighter than a normal 757 so it needs even less runway than a 757. POTUS can fly on any of the aircraft in the 89th Airlift Wing. He is not limited to flying on the VC-25.
FWIW, the C-32 was the AF1 that brought BHO to BTR in 2016.
