Exact same. Forsythe Park was a risky place on a Saturday night back then.

What time should I get there in order to get in? Are they cutting the online tickets off at a certain amount ?

From what I understand there is no limit to the amount of tickets, no cutoff whatsoever. BUT in order to get in you must have registered on the site, which does give you a ticket but doesnt guarantee you a spot. First cine first serve until capacity is reached. At that point they must turn people away. And damn it do I hate long waits in a lines.

I still say Steve Scalise should've run for Governor, but would you South Louisiana cats have turned out for him?

So the #2 GOP congressman in the country with high seniority at a federal level should resign a seat to be governor of Louisiana...?

I could definitely see it with any House member who has potential Presidential aspirations. Im sure there have been, but I can't off hand cite any House members regardless of rank/seat having jumped straight from that to a Presidential campaign. But I wont be surprised if Im corrected.

ETA...and Im not convinced that a governorship isnt more prestigious than any House seat short of Speaker. But I guess I could be convinced.

Damn, never seen that accolade bestowed upon north La. before. Somebody from some other part of the state must be wanting something.

As close as I-20 is to the civic center, I wonder if they'll shut it down while the President is there?

For real though. We've even had supposed Monroe native jump in on jabbing Monroe throughout this deal. That's a sad aspect of our citizenship, truly unproductive and dosen't appear to be heading in the right direction. And it not just this website.

If I wanted to run for president, I would not want a record as Governor of Louisiana. Too much potential for controversy.

Yeah, I can agree specifically for Louisiana. Unless there were some inexplicable rehab of our state ranking in those key metrics, it would be pretty difficult otherwise to tout one's successes and qualifications.

I would assume that opinion would be revised if Louisiana were replaced with say Florida or Texas.

That all makes me a little curious about the state of the State of Arkansas when Bill Clinton won. I would've guessed similar to the average of Louisiana but possibly not.
