Trump got played again. As soon as he mentioned a "loan" Miss Lindsey and Johnson, et al jumped on it. They saw a green light to spend as much as they could.

BTW...They would have done it anyway.

Be nice to have a guy on the ballot that doesn't get played like a piano every day.

But, he's the only man that can drain the swamp!

That may not be possible for any position.

What fricking good is a majority if you bend over for the opposition on everything they want while fricking your own constituents over?

When the majority is 1-3 and there are more than that many R's who vote with the D's........that's a Majority In Name Only.

Anything the House does won't get through the Senate, then you have the Demented Lyin *Buyden in the WH where his handlers will veto anything pro-America.

There are much bigger battles that lie ahead. Getting rid of Johnson now would ensure Hakeen frickn Jeffries as the speaker WITH the Senate and WH doing his bidding.

Imagine the BS they would pass between now and November which very well could affect this election. How about an emergency immigration bill where millions of illegals will legally be able to vote?

Don't like it? Fine, file suits against their new laws but they won't see a court room until after the election.

If the R's get rid of Johnson, who the hell do people think will get 100% of R votes to maintain Speaker? If we cannot answer that, this should not even be a discussion.

This.

A lot of the people on this forum are as emotional and as short-sighted as MGT is. Who the hell are we going to get at this juncture who can be an effective Speaker of the House with such a slim majority? You could put the most conservative Politard in that position tomorrow and I guarantee you that he/she will run into the same issues Johnson is having right now.

What difference does it make when you give the Commies everything they want?

They have control now and have had it regardless of the speaker or any perceived majority

Keep making excuses though...

The one that really gets me is they scream about Johnson not doing anything about the border.

The LAST thing Trump wants is the border to be fixed before the election. It's easily the thing that gets him the most votes over Biden. Without it being a huge issue in the eyes of the electorate he has no chance.

Johnson dropping demands for the border to be fixed in exchange for passing other legislation is the least surprising thing ever.

*I fully expect Biden/the dems to make a show of "fixing" it before long to try and pull back some votes.

It would sure help if we controlled both houses and the White House. Let’s do that and then “adjust” some of this bullshite. I’d adjust that nine billion for Gaza into a border wall.

It's time to unify and win in November. Let's get back to the inter-party bickering in 2025. I'm sorry but we're not going to change the world with a one seat majority in the House and a minority in the Senate.

This just leads to “our lead isn’t large enough” or we can do it after midterms cause we will have a larger advantage. It’s always something with Rs on why we should wait. Soft as baby shite. Never take a stance always prepping for the next election

Johnson didn't 'try very hard' however in folding to give vast amounts of taxpayer monies to Ukraine.
