Duality of man. The ability to do good and evil, tell the spiritual from material.

I figured I would get to know my evil side well (Jung stuff) and it led to a much greater understanding of who I am.

Careful bro. Playing with fire. Jung was deeply into occult stuff, "consulting" the dark spirit world (aka demons).

The guidance in the book of Ecclesiastes might be considered anti-Jung.

Pretty good overview of Jung's own "dark side" here:

Uh, yeah they did.

When they surrendered on August 14, they told our government that they were surrendering to the terms we gave them in the Potsdam Declaration of July 26

BINGO.

(I thought everybody knew Japan's surrender was "Un-Conditionally". Apparently not.)

Carlson is almost dismissive of anyone that might hold the opinion that it was necessary to drop the bombs.

It’s almost like he’s just playing a part…

Yeah, because bucking THE "historical narrative" can't be challenged of a gubmint proven to lie like a rug since...1861??

Tucker is playing a part alright -- of someone in media and in life who refuses to be a patsy any longer to the whims and horsecrap we've been told that "History" and "The Science have always been honest and trusted.

It’s never a good thing to drop nuclear bombs.

I say it directly led to the "Long Peace" and the modern lifestyle we all enjoy today.

America's 75 year run of relative "peace" and blessed high standard of royalty-like living (1950-2024) has been a temporary and materialistic paradigm. Yet... do you really believe a suspect series of events that caused WW2, its mega-death and mayhem -- punctuated by a pair of A-Bombs dropped on Japan actually helped create it? (Might... MIGHT WW2's participants & events have been pre-planned?)

Do you also see the rotten fruits of the Long War that's been waged against us simultaneously?

That "modern lifestyle" has already changed. Stick a fork in it. We are at the end of an Age. Nothing lasts forever. Not even the earth and sky. / Kansas.

Internal planning was for ONE MILLION US casualties.

Both American and Japanese officials at the time predicted a Japanese death toll in the millions.

Estimates of Japanese military and civilian casualties ran well into the TENS OF MILLIONS.

I don't doubt that US "Internal Planning" was giddy over the prospect of ONE MILLION US casualties. War was blood-sport for those ghouls.

"MILLIONS in Death Tolls!!!" were a scare tactic that:

-- helped justify an "acceptable death tallies".

-- helped justify incendiary-bombing Japan back into the Stone Age

-- helped justify the two A-Bomb incineration of Nagasaki / Hiroshima

-- helped justify ANY number of US casualties (if it "prevented faaar more")

-- helped create a world in which populations of the world's citizenry were enslaved by and beholden to Big Daddy US Empire's Big MIC-Nuke Stick

Summarize it this way, Tucker's OP opinion is imbecilic, and you agree with it.

Nah.

He had an interest in Occult Phenomenon like most of us do though.

Its Tucker I would worry about, he's a left winger when it comes to fiscal issues.

This is how children think. It was a horrific and terrible option selected from a few other terrible options because it was the fastest route to peace.

"Offend"? It makes me laugh.

quote:

First off, Japan did not surrender unconditionally.... Japanese surrender was not unconditional, though Truman termed it that way.

Right. (See what I mean??)

quote:

Why was occupation necessary?

Because our intent was to change the mentality of Japanese society from a state-devoted militaristic totalitarian accepting populace to a less threatening, more friendly democracy.

Quite a bit of irony here.

quote:

Our hope was to not end up in WWIII 20 yrs later as had happened after "the war to end all wars" in 1918. That could not happen without occupation, removal of totalitarians, and prosecution of war criminals, combined with implementation of democratic processes.

I'm sorry. (MORE dripping irony).

But...but..I'm confused now -- .what about America enabling our "pal", the Soviet Union, and their deal to allow the enslavement and occupation of Eastern Europe? AND its own Totalitarianism?

Do you even New World Order?? Do you even Banksters & Corps Control gubmints??

1871. 1913. 1919. 1933 (look up and dig down into these unique dates; and do NOT use Wiki).

The USSR. WW2....

1919 goes Red. Starves 20-30 million. Partners with and invades Poland with Germany in 1939. Brawls with Germany by 1942. King FDR declares Lend-Lease to USSR because Stalin the Mass Murderer is now a "good guy". US opens their checkbook and give Stalin anything he wants...

By 1943 FDR is already committed to GIVING Stalin/USSR the entire Eastern Europe as War Spoils (strong rumors are that Communists infest the US State Dept, hand-delivering the Soviets plans to the A-Bomb by 1948.)

Amazing relationship, eh?

You may find Major Jordan's Diaries fascinating as well.

quote:

Toward the end of WWII, it was obvious that the USSR intended to maintain control over, and communize, the countries it occupied. It had those designs on Japan as well. In August 1945, with Germany subjugated, the USSR turned on Japan. The American public would have been fairly happy (in the moment) for the "US goobermint" to stand back and let Soviets get killed occupying Japan, as had occurred months earlier in Berlin. Fortunately, the "US goobermint" recognized the long game in terms of Soviet influence, and ended WWII before the USSR could turn Japan into a divided communist/non-communist state like Germany, Korea, and Vietnam.

SOMEHOW (according to the Historical Narrative) we are supposed to believe the US suddenly feared the Soviet takeover of Japan, Korea and the entire Western Pacific? AFTER giving away Eastern Europe AND giving them plans for the A-Bomb? Hmmm....

FDR and the State Dept NEVER saw any of the USSR's plans for "dominance" coming UNTIL they stormed into Berlin, eh? Pretty convenient.
