Not implying you’re an incel but I doubt you have kids at home. Parents with young kids typically don’t judge other parents with young kids, in my experience. But you seem like you’re judging me for not making the same parenting choices as you did when you could pay for college working 4 hours a week during the summer and buy a house for $10k and a stick of gum.

I’m 33, not a boomer. And a lot of that was tongue in cheek, but at the same time I do think women should try to stay home if possible instead of shelling out money for daycare which almost eliminates the incentive for the dual income itself.

Your kids are more likely to be curious about the book their dad is obsessed with than a random book on a shelf at a library they probably don’t even visit.
