Income tax should be eliminated for parents with kids under 18.

My wife is pregnant. We got married in October and I knocked her up on the honeymoon, and it was on purpose.

Oh, and I asked her to stop working to stay home with the child. And I’m not rich.

The financial situation these days blows but it’s not impossible to have children and live somewhat traditionally, but one has to make personal sacrifices and perhaps not buy Taylor Swift concert tickets for a while.

Kids are the most important thing in the world and I don’t understand people who don’t want to have them.

What can you expect with guys like Andrew Tate telling young men that sex with women makes you gay?

That entire word salad may be true, and if it is, then, to that, I say, “cool story, Bruh.“

The problem is that I’ve seen you lie about the existence of stuff Everybody knows exists 100 times on here before with my own eyes. Not only that, but I’ve seen you pivot exactly the way the poster to whom you are responding says you did. In fact, that’s about 60% of what I’ve ever seen you post about.

So go tell it to somebody who hasn’t seen it a million times before.

Women I know.

Now if they were saying they couldnt afford a child, then i would agree with you. But a child is a free check from the government, so they arent saying that.

Build more and affordable housing and this problem goes away

It's not just housing. It's diapers, wipes, formula, strollers, etc. Then it's child care, braces, and travel ball. Kids are expensive.

The cost of daycare is absolutely bonkers. Having two in daycare nearly ruined us financially.

Where can I pick up my check? Is it a monthly check or a one time payment?

Why pay for daycare when you can stay at home and raise them yourself? Daycare is a scam, paying mediocre people who don’t love your kids to provide less than ideal food and instruction is ludicrous.

Nobody can afford kids anymore. I wanted a 3rd but just couldn’t justify the costs

I raise my kids and paid for daycare, along with a multitude of other expenses.

Our daycare wasn’t like this. You do what works for your family (if you even have one) and I’ll do what works for mine.

Wait til you see how much shite costs after they’re born. A lot of people have family help, time and financially. We lived 1000 miles away from any family, had to do everything on our own. Costs add up quickly

I’m aware but I’m at least making to effort to try, which no one does anymore. And if it’s successful and I believe it will be, it needs to be said for others to hear.
