At least he has a law degree but it's from Pace (lol). Still zero chance of that.

Thank God it’s not Harvard or Yale!

Strong possibility, and Davis would be a nightmare for the Wokesters/cultural Marxists/DC Uniparty Globalists.

I'll throw you a name out there. He has argued before the USSC before, he's an attorney of course and he would gladly rain Hell down on Trump's enemies . Jay Sekulow.

The last thing you want is an English major as AG. That's all he's got.

Also not an attorney.

I stand corrected, thought he had a law degree. Looked it up and just a BA in English.

I would love Mike Davis or Ken Paxton but getting these guys past senate confirmation may be too difficult of a lift. If I were Trump I would approach it this way: nominate Ken Paxton knowing full well the media and senate will go all out against Paxton. After a long fight have Paxton withdraw his name from consideration.

The purpose of this is to soften up the senate and the media for the next nomination then nominate Mike Davis. If the media and the senate are weak enough by this point and the senate relents and nominates Mike Davis, then great. However if the senate and the media are still strong in opposition to Mike Davis allow the fight to ensue and while the fight is being conducted nominate Kash Patel as a temporary AG (for 6 months) and the media and the senate heads will explode.

If the senate and media does not relent at this point negotiate to nominate Ted Cruz. At this point the media and the senate will be soft enough to secure Cruz' nomination.

You all did see who Trump had on the stage with him in Iowa last night...a former Attorney General of the United States even if only for a short time.

Matthew Whitaker.
