No because their games can end in ties. I've gone twice to see the Houston Tienamo play and both times the games ended up as a tie.
The 1st time, Houston was down 2-1 and tied it up with 5 minutes left. I'm excited thinking overtime, but when the clock hit 0:00, everyone got up and was cheering and left like we won...

I just don’t see how they expect to be successful long term going to head to head with the NFL/CFB during MLS playoffs. That needs to be in the spring.
It makes far more sense for most of the 34 regular season games to be in the spring and dog days of summer and it’s not close. The league would be cannibalized for a far longer and more brutal stretch if it tries to emulate the NFL/CFB/European calendar for the time being

only a handful of countries play baseball. damn near every country plays soccer...and no asian player is close to consideration of being the best player. baseball is a flawed sport. gay as hell

I don't see how their playoffs could work in the spring unless teams would be willing to play regular season games in the frigid winter. How often is soccer played in snow and wind? And even if it was, it would still be going up against the NCAA Tournament, NHL and NBA playoffs.
