I just hope we show up against wolves.

Even if city win all of their games, we have to make them win them all. Just keep us within touching distnce and they cant go on vaction with 2-3 games left.

Yeah. We need City to beat Real Madrid here to have any hope in the league.

it won't matter though because they don't get injuries and their level of fitness is unstoppable.

I mean fricking Grealish is a bench warmer now and they are still in it to win the treble.

We’ll lose or draw 3 of the remaining 6 games.

ETA: and it’s because we’ll need our best players to play well and they are all about run into the ground.

Martinelli has been a ghost since he returned from injury, Saka has sucked for about a month now, and Odegaard has played basically every game this year

Bayern played us just like Villa. Absorb all half and then kill us in the 2nd.

Totally different game if Martinelli scores that one early on, same as Trossard last weekend

Real Madrid beats City

Unfortunately this might be all she wrote for City winning the league.

There is no doubt in my mind they win the final 6 games of the season especially with 2 fewer midweek games to "fatigue" them

I’m fully convinced it won’t matter. The Arsenal team from the past week isn’t winning all their remaining games. I expect us to finish 3rd

Man you are negative as frick. I get it considering the last week but we aren't all of a sudden the worst fricking team on earth. We have had 2 bad weeks all season. Shows you the level required.

I'm just glad we are bitching about being a solid champions league squad over bitching about being in 8th.

The season isn't over. It feels that way with City controlling their destiny but all it makes is them being on the end of a shitty decision and dropped points from us controlling our destiny again.

Like I said, it's fine to be pissed but all this negative shite is premature.

The important thing we have to avoid is collapsing the rest of the season. Winning the league or not, this is the most important summer window in club history come June. I'm glad we will be in the Champions next year in order to keep high level players coming and staying at the club.

Maybe I am being a bit negative, but the players all look rattled as frick. When the game isn’t going well, they have 0 answer.

Just the last 3 games, we look like we have 0 speed out on the pitch. There’s just no answer when we can’t pass our way into the net.

I think a big part of it is fatigue, but man they just look bad

I would agree with that. I think we need a dynamic striker this summer who possesses speed and can actually fricking finish a chance.

It is clear Martinelli hasn't been 100% all season. Trossard isn't fast but isn't slow either. Jesus has speed and technique but his knees are shot so speed may not be there for long especially with how intense we play.

Saka has speed and technique but has also been injured all season.

We need speed up front and honestly in midfield as well. Rice is the only deep lying player in the midfield who isn't slow as frick in the team. We need someone who can create and complement Rice.

We are close. I truly believe that. I've long thought next season has to be the one we win the league. Also doesn't mean I think we are done this season but we all know it will be difficult especially with those financial doping figs having an easy run in

At least we were in the thick of things in both PL and CL but I get so pissed off at “falling apart” April.

I don’t agree with Arteta here.

First, he’s been here longer than one season. And I’ve wanted to win the CL for 20+ years now.

And I wanted to win the Europa league.

The frustrations isnt about one game. It’s decades of being not good enough.

Biggest problem I have overall, is that in just about every important game of the last 2 years, we’ve played like shite.

0 killer instinct, 0 ability for anyone to step up and score a goal.

Do you think any team holds their breathe when our team is just around / outside the box? We just don’t have a real way to put the ball in the net unless we basically pass it in.

No one is clinical enough to finish in traffic, no one is clinical enough to score from outside the box

The winning goal was scored by a 5’9 fullback on a header.

It’s all just super frustrating. Feels like we can’t scrap together wins unless it’s against a shite team who was lucky to be in the game anyway
