jackson really needs to grow up
way too emotional and quick tempered
it affects his play and his demeanor

jorginho took all of the PKs, can you imagine Jackson going up to him and struggling with him to take the ball away? Rudiger would have tossed him aside like a sack of potatoes.

palmer looks like a choir boy but has an edge to him, he needs to take over leadership and make this his club next season

Gallagher showing some leadership, but this is embarrassing

quote:

Cole Palmer on penalty tension: “I’m the penalty taker. I wanted to take it so I took it”. “Everyone wants to take responsibility.” “We ended up laughing and joking about it but the manager has spoken to us about it now”.

quote:

Pochettino: "I will never accept behaviour like this again. Next time everyone involved will be out. I am not joking" on penalty incident.

Build it around Palmer. Jackson has shown flashes but I’m not sure he’ll be here next season.

That would be a terrible decision. He is learning the position. His touch is phenomenal. His vision has improved, and he is finishing at the same level as Drogba in Year 1 with Chelsea.

He is petulant, but so was Costa. 10 goals and nine yellows is very Costa like.

Once Jacksonatures a tad, and fully learns the position, he is going to be a beast imho.

With this Chelsea squad, who knows what will happen. It’s a talented squad, just quite young. We could finish as high as 6th, or as low as 11th. If 7th is in Europe, that would be a good way for them to cut their teeth next year. I still say this squad has a chance to become a title contender, especially when the wages for Lukaku, Kepa, and Raheem fall off of the books.

I am all for keeping jackson. lets see what he has got

they all have the same challenge, too young and the game is too fast

they all continue to get some reps and miles on them and the game slows down

I agree that Jackson should remain with the team. He is so young and athletic. He showed yesterday that he is capable of converting his chances and he is a good on-ball attacker. It would be foolish to give him this year of experience and then let some other team reap the benefits.

The semi-featured players that should be out are James, Chilwell, Sterling, and Silva. I get that James and Chilwell are academy products, but this team is much better without them. Silva has given all he can. Sterling, Chilwell, and James only take away minutes from more consistent players.

I love Chilly but yes, he looks a step slower after the injury and can’t defend. Jackson needs about 10 lbs of muscle in the offseason. Sell Reece to the highest La Liga bidder. Bye bye Raheem and thank you for your service, great Silva.

chillwell was a leicester academy product

chillwell cant/wont go backwards, he is always going forward

silva will retire, james needs to be sold, cant stay healthy

sterling is done at CFC

For those clamoring for Jackson and to be here next year need look no further than today as to why he shouldn’t. Kid is not a reliable finisher. He’s a less polished Timo. He’s the reason we lost because he cannot collect himself enough to get clean shots off. We had City beaten if Jackson had the class to take advantage of his opportunities.

We had City beat but Jackson blows opportunity after opportunity.

He had 6 inside the box today and couldn't get one clean shot off.

Jackson can stay as a squad player, if he's our primary 9 again it's going to be another lost season. He's not good right now

Not to go olddawg on the ref but how was that not a handball on Grealish?

His job was to block the free kick, he did that, with his arm in an unnatural position. Ref had to actually double down and not even give the corner bc admitting it was a deflection would make him have to admit it was a handball. Strange decision.

He is frustratingly inconsistent.

It is a byproduct of youth.

New position, young, surrounded by youth, Poch in Year one…this season was never going to be a success if we had realistic expectations.

Ironically, Jackson needs more minutes to develop, not less.

Today he was shite.

As noted prior - feast or famine.

I guess I’m back to losing weight.

A decision will have to be made concerning his PT.

He has potential, but that just means that he isn’t consistently getting the job done.

Time will tell.

Until enough time has passed to either pass on him, or double down long term…

he is the guy.

We need an entirely new back line. It’s all shite. Alfie just hit chewed up and spit out. And we continue that cute thing of giving the ball to our opponent at the top of the box. Marc is on Saka? shite

Jackson should be off. Saka should be on a yellow. Bout all I see wrong with the ref. Jacksons challenge was egregious and embarrassing.
