Not to mention absolutely delicious passing and distribution from the three of them.

Well. We may have just bottled the league at United. Barf. Drawing there with probably 7 GREAT opportunities to put the ball in the net is just disgusting.

Welp… that one might just be the nail in the PL coffin unfortunately because none of the crappy squads remaining on the Arsenal and MC slates ever show a single sign of willingness or motivation to put up a fight against THEM.

So I guess Europa or bust.

I had a feeling that everyone thought it was going to be a Klopp sendoff, but being an LSU fan, I knew it wasn't going to go well.

This isn't great, but it also isn't the nail in the coffin. Arsenal have a much harder run in over their last 7 games than they had in the previous 10. It will not be as easy for them to sustain multi-goal wins. I think Its possible to peg them back on GD. Not super likely, but possible. Let's just see how it plays out.

If Arsenal and City drop points it’s really hard to see them doing it in more than 1 game with their form. And I don’t see us winning out. We haven’t won at Goodison in like 4 years and they’re going to be fighting relegation. Not to mention @Villa @West Ham and others that are no guarantee

Odds are very likely we’ll have another game like yesterday where we just don’t have our finishing boots on

And of course we are incapable of keeping a clean sheet

That’s the thing with Arsenal and City. If they allow any goals it’s not going to be more than 1. Arsenal’s defense has been unreal

Of course injuries are unpredictable and I guess if they face each other in a 2 legged champions league semi final that could help us

I can see us winning out, but we need to start scoring on par with our xG. If we keep missing these sitters, we certainly won't win out.

Arsenal and City don't really need to allow a lot of goals. They just have to keep winning 1-0 or 2-1. If that happens, and we win out, I think there's a chance we can make up the GD because we're creating chances by the bucket load. But we have GOT to start scoring in line with those chances we're creating.

But chances are not goals. Some of what we've seen recently is almost heartbreaking.

I agree, that's why I said that we need to convert if we want to have a shot at making up the GD. These strikers are all capable of it, but for whatever reason can't put the ball in the net. If we can at least equal our xG (not even asking to outscore it), we should have a legit shot at pegging Arsenal back on GD.

I know I should never question Klopp

But Konate was good to start against Sheffield last week and today but was on the bench against United? Why would we have not played Quansah last Thursday and Konate against United?

Some extremely lazy performances on the pitch in this first half. I’ve only seen consistent energy from Harvey and Macca actually.

Yeah it’s been bad. Klopp is going to destroy them during halftime I’d imagine.

No idea how Kelleher didn’t stop that goal

Wouldn’t hurt my feelings to get whatever price we can for Tsimikas in the offseason since (1) gomez has played decently as a backup left back this season and (2) the youth left back played well in the couple of roll outs he got with the senior squad as well.

Tsimikas is just… not good. Hindering even.

Utter shambles of a performance. Fair play and all credit to Atalanta… they may not have dominated “possession” but they sure as hell dominated their opponent.

Guess the Carabao Cup is the only shiny prize there will be for Kloppo’s exit.

I have the feeling that replacing four people at/near the half on your squad decimates cohesion. We were missing chances in the first half, but after the subs soon after the 2nd half started, it was collapse.
