Looking more for out of the country

Idk man. We took ours on 2 hour flights across the country at that age and if they weren't asleep breastfeeding, it was like watching your child at home but you had to keep them on your lap the ENTIRE time. They are restless at that age and want to explore. Luckily ours was cute and smiling/playing with everyone around and great on plans. 9 flights and has yet to cry (knock on wood).

If you can leave your child with family, do it. If not, I wouldn't go anywhere that's more than 2 hours from where you live now.

Vacation ideas with a ten month old
I always find road vacations to be the best when we had them that age. For one, the motion/noise of the car tends to help them sleep. But you can also just pull over and fulsomely address whatever you need to address.

I always followed the advice given to me of "just go do what you want to do as a family and don't let the baby stop you". Bring 'em and enjoy! My two cents.

Where is the best place to travel with a ten month old in the board’s opinion? Looking more for out of the country. Ideal timeframe is June, July, or August

Why fly with a 10 month old. Just going to piss off of the surrounding people and you won’t enjoy it all

My kid has flown with us since she was about that age (9yo now). In dozens of flights, she had exactly ONE bad time - and it was from Portland, ME to Boston (so, barely an hour.)

Other than that, absolute rock star on every flight. And I loved every minute of pushing a stroller along the Freedom Trail with her in Boston, or hiking to the Continental Divide in Colorado with her strapped to my back - or any of the other cool-arse shite she's/we've gotten to do together.

GTFO with that nonsense.

Paris has the Olympics this summer (regular and special), they also have a lot of angry third worlders living in a couple of arronsidments and they like to burn cars among other things.
Paris will probably still shut down for their vacations for the month of August.

At that age, we had success with beach vacations like Cozumel and Miami as well as short jaunts to Galveston and Gulf Shores.

I will never have kids, but I think people with their babies who travel for leisure are quite selfish. If you wanted vacations, you should either not have kids or wait til the kids are old enough to remember to understand. Like a previous poster said, you’re gonna piss off a lot of folks on an airplane with a baby.

I bet you're an unbearable **** irl. If you can't handle being around other people, then stay home. The airlines and hotels don't restrict (they actually make accommodations) children for a reason......it's better for their business.

Couldn’t agree more. If you’ve got the money, travel like your normally would and adjust to them being there. Love the memories I have with mine so far on trips that they’ll never remember
