You’re entitled to your opinion. I promise that the case has been worked hard though
ETA Call the Chief’s Office and push for more detectives in the homicide division. That’s truly what’s needed. They’re all over-worked and don’t have the time to invest into each case that is needed...

Completely agree. Unfortunately in that specific location, it was a dead area for video. The “witness” couldn’t provide anything that would help. Obviously there’s more that the detectives have but they can’t release all details for the integrity of the case. ...

The prosecutor on the case didn’t like the evidence so essentially killed it in grand jury. So he was released.
ETA That happens a lot in BR. Rather than indicting and working to strengthen the case with the detective, they convince the grand jury that there isn’t enough evidence but will revisi...

Agree with that. Yes there are some absolutely shitty officers, but there are also many good ones that just want to do their job but are handcuffed (no pun intended) by the administration.
I don’t miss that place one bit, but I do miss the camaraderie that I shared with some of them. ...
