thanks, turkish... so you would say, definitely not the 16x50? (as some hunting will be in the woods/cutovers, but mostly cleared out shooting lanes anywhere from 75 yards to maybe 200 at the longest and on occasion)...

Levee, these will mainly be used in box stand hunting and would likely be transported to the stand in a backpack or worn around the neck......

looking at vortex triumph 10x42 versus bushnell 16x50 powerview... Both listed for the same price ($99.99)... any thoughts/advice from the OB? Any other suggestions within the $100 price range?...
is there something wrong with the Excalibur Hotel and Casino? I am not familiar with Vegas hotels, but just browsing and I see that the Excalibur seems to be much cheaper than others mentioned in this thread for a stay from Aug. 30 to Sept. 2?...
