North Shreveport around Blanchard area isn’t bad. With I49 being completed through the area it makes Bossier and the rest of Shreveport very easily accessible with a very short commute. Also has blown up per se over the last couple of years and has pretty much everything you need very close such as ...

Anyone have any experience with the Griffin Armament MK2 rifles? Interested in maybe picking one up with a 14.5” barrel and have them pin and weld a mount on it for me. In my experience they make good equipment, just don’t have any experience with their rifles. Wondering how accurate they are and ho...
No experience with the Primal but I have a Griffin Armament Bushwacker 46 I shoot on a 450 Bushmaster and it works really well for that application. I personally would keep manufacturers the same so you could use the same muzzle devices for both cans. Kind of splitting hairs if you start chasing dec...

30-06 has been killing shite and killing it well for well over a hundred years. Has probably killed more wild game and human targets than any other caliber on the planet. Every manufacturer out there makes a rifle chambered in it. Has a plethora of different ammo manufacturers for it and an unending...
Either caliber would work but for straight up killing shite I would go 6.5 Grendel. I personally have one on a 6mm ARC and it does quite well. Only went with that caliber because I reload and have more bullet options to choose from. ...
As most of my hunting is done from a climbing stand, my set up is a 16” 450 Bushmaster AR and has been for roughly 8 years now. It has been devastating on deer and several unlucky hogs over the years. Short, light, can be slung in the front comfortably while packing a climber in and out of the woods...

Have the same motor but 2012 model. Has done and still does the same thing. Steams at low idle after warming up and after running WOT then shutting down or getting off throttle to putt around. Just something it does but has never been an issue. Motor still runs great. Try to service it once a year a...

Have a ZD18 Kubota bought in 2000. Has mowed Louisiana twice over and only preformed basic PM work oil, air filter, fuel filter etc. Changed deck belt once and 47 plugs and patches in front and back tires. Damn thing want die. Fires up runs all day and doesn’t give a shite shite what you run over. Tha...

If it’s a straight stock 10/22 and you just want it to shoot, take it to Clark’s Custom Guns in Haughton and let them do their accuracy package for it. Either that or go ahead and drop the cash on one of their custom 10/22’s and then you will have you something. ...

Can’t speak for the A400 but I have two Extrema 2’s that have taken everything I’ve thrown at them and made happy plates out of everything I have fed them. No hiccups no issue’s just straight eat. It’s a Beretta and in my experience they make top notch equipment. ...

Had a 300blk for awhile and it just never really impressed me personally. Shooting subs with a can is cool but not really practical for me in a hunting situation. I roll my own and worked up a few decent loads for it but was just never my cup of tea. For $1500 I would be interested in looking into a...
I took my deer to Dowling’s meat processing back In the day when I lived around that area. Always did a good job for me. It’s located in Simmsboro. ...

Yes at Barksdale AFB. Had one at the air show several years back. A truly beautiful piece of engineering. Have seen the B-2, and B-1 there. Last air show had the F-22 and it put on one hell of a show. After seeing the F-22 it’s what I hope the government spends my personal tax dollars on because I d...
30-06 been getting it done for well over a hundred years and if your wanting something fancy and new go 450 bushmaster. Recoil is subjective and she will never notice it when pulling the trigger on a deer anyway. Only thing she will remember is her ears ringing after the shot and dragging that heavy...

re: Armadillo Problem

Posted by Griff Nasty on 5/10/22 at 5:09 pm
Between 10pm and 2am is magic time for armadillos. If you can get up and case your property around those times at night you will catch them slipping and be able to put a bullet in that arse. I’m usually good for about 4 or 5 a year around my place. A .22 hollow point bullet makes a very distinct sou...
