re: Trip to Vietnam
Go crazy and try some balut
If you like duck and you like hard boiled eggs then you’ll like trung vit lon (balut in Vietnamese). ...
Wouldn't you rather Sexton and Kessler? Walker Kessler is actually a really good defensive player.
No, I think duren is a better overall player and much higher ceiling. Duren is much more mobile and allows you to play different styles on defense. Kessler is a really good drop defe...
Duren is legit in the Drummond category, don't let the rebounds and athleticism fool you, he sucks defensively.
He does suck defensively but I'd bet on him improving. If we could get Duren and Ivey for BI i would do that in a second...
I honestly can't remember a single play from his time here...
Who out there would be shopping for a CJ? That is $30m+ for two seasons on an aging undersized 2. A young team needing a veteran presence would be interested but the likes of Detroit doesn’t need a veteran combo guard with the likes of Cade and Ivey there.
I actually think Orland...
Harris is an excellent defender and rebounder, and he can hit an open 3. I"m not asking to break the bank with him, but if he was your backup 4 coming off the bench and small ball 5, i'd be very happy with that. If he's poo, then the Sixers would still be giving us a picks if we gave them B...
Question still remains of why the Hawks would do that if Philly’s available picks are mainly contingent on them or the Clip Show bottoming out in a few years. Atlanta would be sending out a good player and the TPE for Murray isn’t enough to fix all the holes in that lineup.
yeah...
Only way that deal works is if we have a non-simultaneous trade where we get a good player in from another team. What is a $28m TPE if you aren’t going to use it?
It would have to be something like BI to philly, philly picks and TPE to ATL, and Paul Reed & Dejounte to NOLA....
quote: I believe the biggest take away from the playoffs so far is that the bench does not really matter that much. A team needs a strong starting 5, with maybe a solid 6th man. Mac has been saying this forever. The NBA and NFL have one thing in common. You win in the playoffs with...
What is the expectations on Karlo Matkovic this offseason, BTW? If he is already playing for Birmingham, the idea is that we likely sign him and he could be a key 4-5 for us. Basketball Reference says he isn’t a high volume 3pt shooter but he does have some range and is hitting about ...
Don't understand it either. BI is such a dificult guy to defend when he has a head of steam to the goal. His Euro step and length makes it easy for him to finish. I don't understand how he doesn't undersand this. I'm not saying he's Giannis, but BI is one of the closest guys to him when it c...
quote: Ima keep posting this until it happens or I get let down. The latter more probable. I know there are some Klutch and personality red flags around Murray, but the more I look at him and his potential fit, he just seems like the guy to go after. - Your defense and rebounding i...
Hawkins could easily replace his volume. Question is how effectively.
We should be adding Hawks volume to CJ's not just replacing CJ's volume. We were 25th in 3PAs this year, we need to shoot more not stay the same...
We don't have a lack of guys who can shoot well. We have a lack of volume shooters. This is why trading CJ is very tricky, and if you don't get back another guy who shoots just as much, you're probably doomed to be dead last in the NBA in 3pt attempts. CJ was an abomination in the pos...

re: Jaden Hardy Mavs PG

I like him but he's definitely not a true PG. More of a Cam Thomas or Jordan Clarkson offensive spark off the bench...
I wonder how Charlotte feels about Lamelo. Maybe they're tired of waiting around for him so they take a NC guy in Ingram plus a bunch of picks? On our side it would be really risky considering his injury history but our only shot is to hit on someone whose stock is low right now. Still probably high...
Did people miss the point here? He said last year that people should be pissed if he's there the following year saying "We have to get better" And here he is saying "We have to get better" 1 year later
He's a used car salesman. Does anyone believe anything this guy says?...
I’m not doing any trade with the Bucks. We want them to implode since we have their pick in a couple years
Nothing would make them implode faster than giving them 2 career chokers in BI and CJ...
After he said that last year all he did was draft Hawkins, sign zeller and give herb a contract. That’s like the bare minimum of an offseason. Let’s see what he does this time. I don’t have high hopes. He’s gonna find out he held onto his golden boy Ingram far too long and now his value is in th...
Always about the defense. The defense held us together..that's green. But the Pelicans offense held OKC together, so...
Pelicans put up the worst offensive number in the last 8 playoffs but "Hey, the defense was still good" Willie will never learn...
