Fully exempt Tour players are guaranteed $500K now. They'll pay it up front before the year starts and start paying your earnings when you cross $500K. If you don't get to $500K, you don't owe the diffe...

Because your justification for some of these guys getting exemptions into a major is that they finished high in a limited field with guys that have guaranteed cash and can’t be relegated....

I don’t care that they left, the professional game is basically wrecked at this point.
But them going to a closed tour shouldn’t give them exemptions. Go earn it...
