Looking to make a long weekend trip to Austin this fall for a UT game. Would appreciate any rec's on hotels to check out. For context, late 20's, would prioritize proximity to restaurants and bars over DKR. Thanks in advance....

Skip the casino steak houses and go to Mary Mahoney's across the street from Hardrock/Beau instead. Will be a lot more fun and you'll probably spend less money. Make sure you reserve well in advance if you have a big group.
Also, spend an evening in Downtown Ocean Springs (Government Street). ...
