West Monroe alum, Derrick Mixon, plays drums for Chris Stapleton and he wasn't even the best drummer on campus during his time at West Monroe High School. Arron Guidry was. Pep rallies were awesome at WMHS in the early/mid nineties....
Not gonna lie though, he does have a tough job trying to top what we did this season… but with three seniors in the rotation hopefully, he can win from Day 1… long term the goal is to get closer to West Monroe and Barbe.
2017 WM was ranked #1 and lost in the finals to Central
Sure that that ball was gone when it left Biggs bat. Walk off HR would have been incredible. Another reason for a three game series....
Thanks y’all. Will check out OBs or Fat Max. If not, I forgot about Walk On’s. But would like to try some we don’t have at home. ...
I hate to interrupt, but could anyone recommend a good restaurant/sports bar to watch LSU baseball tonight and Paul Skenes pitch tomorrow in Lake Charles/Sulphur area?...
The last two weeks the difference has been staying down and going the other way. Prior he was trying to pull sliders/outside fastballs. If he keeps going the other way, LSU will go on a run.
Bill, Jacob and I discussed this. They been doing work....
quote: ProjectP2294 Thanks Project for the great explanation.
Yes. Good stuff. At first I was a little annoyed that this thread got hijacked by the age old and played out holdback argument. But now that West Monroe is 0-2 against Catholic this weekend, I'm kind of glad it...

In West Monroe's 8-1 season opener win against Airline, Hawsey went four for four. One single, one double and two triples. We will see how he fairs against BR Catholic this weekend....

Watched LA Tech verbal commit Trey Hawsey last night in the Bayou Jam Home Run Derby. He hit 17 home runs in four minutes. The next closest was three. Then in a 3 inning jam he hit one 400 feet in the first inning and then had one in the second inning go over the foul pole. Wish LSU would give him ...
