Btw, don’t know what TX DOT is doing, but they had prob 100 trucks staged along Washington/old Katy yesterday evening… just sitting there with lights on and shooting the shite for at least 2-3hrs.

Dont know if centerpoint told them the main power along 10 was about to come up for what, but they wasted a lot of time just sitting.

They do lots of staging and moving around poles etc. also these are CDL drivers so when they get to town typically they’re houred out.

I’m grabbing some Monster, Zyn and Marlboro reds to start giving out to them.

Shell on West TC Jester and 610 was too. Had to settle for Velo.

I’m about to head back over to feed our cats and cut the grass. The cats are loving the 80 degree upstairs right now.

we got power back yesterday late afternoon, which was pretty damned fast all things considered.

This Duramax 13000 tri fuel is worth every bit I spent on it. Now I just have to get it integrated into the main breaker box and get some soft start for my 5 ton unit. If that taxes the generator too much I suppose the family could life boat it up to the 2nd floor and use the smaller 2 ton unit for AC support.

Passed by Ella and Sinclair, looked like they had the main service line back up, but still had workers down that service way, so guess it wasn’t active yet.

Lots of electrical trucks in Oak Forest right now. I’d bet power will be on sooner than Tuesday/Wednesday.

the new map doesn't make sense. It implies that our neighborhood already has power which is false

Yeah it doesn’t make sense. People down the street from me didn’t have power when it came out but showed they did.

I just got the CenterPoint text thats we’re back in. Haven’t been able to get anything to communicate with devices yet but going to drive over in a few to reset everything if I can’t do it remotely.
