Literally nothing akin to having their charges dropped

They both deserve bail.

Two attorneys who pleaded guilty to throwing a Molotov cocktail at an unoccupied police vehicle during a 2020 protest cut a new deal with prosecutors Thursday, slashing in half their prison sentence guidelines.

Under the new agreement to superseding information charging conspiracy to commit arson and to possess an explosive device, the maximum sentence is five years, however the government seeks a term of between 18 months and 24 months.

The pair, who were released pending trial, previously faced up to 10 years in prison based on an October 2021 guilty plea that included a terrorism enhancement, which defense attorneys fought against in court.

Courthouse News

Still spreading misinformation I see. The original charges were dropped and they were given sweetheart plea deals by Brandon’s DOJ. No such mercy for a J6 guy who allegedly threw hands and got rowdy inside the People’s Capitol.

Edit:

The Judge then gave this democrat duo sentences of 12 and 15 months respectively. Meanwhile, J6 guy is held without bond for 44 months and placed in solitary as a pre-trial detainee. Equal application of law has been destroyed in Biden’s America.

"y'all weren't up in arms about black men getting solitary confinement after violent crimes, and only started because now white Trump supporters"

You can't even keep up with your own absurdity.

Yup. Partisan distinction. I even said "Trump supporters" to make it clear for smoothbrains.

Huge difference under 8th amend jurisprudence between a convicted prisoner and a pre-trial detainee, as you should know.

A plea deal is not having "charges dropped" (which implies a full dismissal).

Nobody says "oh they pled to felonies, but their charges were dropped"...at least nobody with experience or discussing the situation honestly.

The Judge then gave this democrat duo sentences of 12 and 15 months respectively.

Not only did they get felonies (and lose their law licenses), but they also did hard time.

. Meanwhile, J6 guy is held without bond for 44 months

He keeps delaying the trial.

I'm sure he was offered to have his "charges dropped" in a plea deal a long time ago, also (like the 2 lawyers discussed above).

You're trying to "Equally apply" two completely different factual scenarios. You will get very different outputs if you do that.

Naw. I am consistent in my beliefs on bail. That's the difference.

You said black and white like the good little lefty you've become.

Own it or be a liar your choice.

you blame him for being in jail for 40 months neglecting to mention he hasn't been afforded bail... even pointing out that he was considered dangerous as the reason.
Contfronted with some leftist nuts who firebombed a police car receiving bail, you sheepishly claim bail was appropriate in both instances. You are a disingenuous heck devoid of an ounce of intellectual honestly.

Because he is the party who keeps delaying the trial (as opposed to the state, which is implied in the commentary).

I am quite positive I did not say this, especially as it relates to bail.

Why wouldn't I? I have been promoting the idea bail is a tool of the Police State going on 20 years on here. Again, I am consistent in my beliefs.

Says the guy who claimed I said something ITT that I did not

*ETA: Just looked and I have not said "dangerous" in this entire thread. You lied and claimed I was being dishonest

If you want an example of why TGP is somewhat of a joke, this is a good article.

First, their tweet uses language "Sensory Deprivation Chamber" but then admits it's solitary confinement.

Second, they cover the Who, What, Where, and When, but not the "Why?"

Lang has pushed his trial back multiple times.

Also, he was denied bail for accusations of violent crimes. He is the guy I was told did not exist (relied on violence against police to get into the Capitol).

I really don't think you could be a bigger douchebag even if you tried very hard. You are one of the few posters on this board that is truly a disgusting POS and literally never adds anything to a conversation.
You spirit animal is the monkey just throwing shite all over the place in the zoo.
