My daughter’s last two moves, she didn’t call me. She relied on friends. I didn’t even know she had moved until months later.
I’m proud that she is has created a life of her own. She is an independent and capable adult. But I miss her more than ever!
My advice is to appreciate the time you...

re: Biden Regime Wants to Prioritize Minorities For Kidney Transplants
Posted by Jimbeaux on 5/28/24 at 9:36 pm
The only way to increase the percentage of black kidney transplant recipients is to ignore the current health rating system of the candidates.
This extremely expensive and highly limited resource is much smaller than the demand. To be as fair as possible, there is a national criteria that must b...

[quote]Know a guy who has cash, and connections, and suddenly jumped and jumped, and jumped the list for a new kidney. His kidney is bad, because he's an alky, dbag. Well, he got his kidney, kept drinking like a fish, and is looking for a new kidney, yet again, and he's told others that he's high...
re: I hoped last summer’s heat would be a one off, but it doesn’t appear it was.

[quote]The summers have gotten warmer, especially the morning lows. I remember we’d sometimes open windows to cool off at night but those days are long gone. But the more obvious trend is the winters are shorter and milder, with one or two cold spells that are short lived. The leaves turn a few wee...
