Following LSU's 10-3 victory over McNeese on Tuesday night, head coach Jay Johnson delivered some bad news that relief pitcher Gavin Guidry will miss the remainder of the season with a back injury.

Guidry was scheduled to make his first appearance of the season back in late February, but started having a back issue that kept him out.

He had an MRI and did some treatment for the injury but ultimately could not return.

Johnson said Guidry will have a procedure done on Friday.

You’re right. Mainly because I don’t watch scumbag Vitello coach. I can tell you TN lost their Friday starter to Tommy John last year. Brought him out this year and he didn’t last 1 whole game. Don’t know if he made it back.
Also saw Vitello act a fool throwing stuff around the dugout the night TN had a combined no hitter just because his pitcher got a blister and wanted to come out
