LSU head coach Paul Mainieri met with media during Monday's practice and provided a great update on Bryce Jordan who suffered a knee injury after colliding with Texas A&M first baseman in Friday's game.

Mainieri was very worried for Jordan after injuring the same knee that caused him to miss the entire 2017 season but said Monday that the injury isn’t as severe as he initially feared.

Fantastic one of the few leaders that we have this year. Definitely will need him to make a run at it.
