LSU landed its third commitment of the day on Wednesday evening when Isaiah Whitehead, a class of 2028 offensive tackle, gave his verbal pledge to the Tigers.

Isaiah's brother, five-star edge rusher Chris Whitehead, committed earlier today.

Isaiah, a 6-5, 325-pounder from Chesterfield, Va. (Lloyd C. Bird), is currently rated as a three-star recruit. He chose the Tigers over South Carolina and Virginia Tech, giving LSU its first commitment for the class of 2028.

Welcome Isaiah and so glad you’re joining your big brother. Do you happen to have any younger brothers that also plays football?

If this family continued to have kids every year for a decent stretch, its going to be a great run for the Tigers!

I’m for certain he won’t change his mind by 2028

Nothing is guaranteed but I'd say the chances are more slim being that his brother is here and he wants to play with him.

I agree. If big Bro stays, little Bro's commitment will stand. Unless some school comes with an exuberant NIL deal that LSU isn't willing to match.
