A judge in Louisiana has dismissed a lawsuit filed by former LSU football coach Les Miles against the school, the NCAA, and the National Football Foundation over the decision to vacate 37 of his victories during his 12 years with the Tigers.
The vacated win made Miles ineligible for the College Football Hall of Fame. Per The Advocate:

Miles sued in September 2024, more than a year after LSU vacated every win from 2012-15 as part of an NCAA investigation into the men’s basketball and football programs. LSU imposed the penalty because the father of former offensive lineman Vadal Alexander received roughly $180,150 from a booster during his LSU career.
As a result, Miles’ official record across 18 seasons at Oklahoma State, LSU and Kansas dropped to 108-73 (.597), putting him below the .600 mark required for consideration. The lawsuit sought a declaratory judgment that would restore his eligibility for the Hall of Fame and allow the vacated wins to be considered in his nomination.
Miles’ attorneys argued he never had the chance to be heard before LSU vacated the wins, violating his right to due process under the U.S. and Louisiana constitutions, and that doing so breached his contract from when he was LSU’s coach.
