The largest producer of raw lithium in the world is Australia. 5 times the amount of china. There are no resources in the world isolated to just China. Now refining capacity and finished product is like 75 percent. But refineries and processes can be built.

China owns most of the mining companies in Australia. Australia is practically a protectorate at this point.

The largest known reserves of lithium are in Congo and CAR areas

Where Russia and China are

Interestingly, earlier today in Moscow police detained an employee of Prigozhin's media group Patriot Aleksey Slobodenyuk who runs a network of telegram channels known for attacking Shoigu, Volodin and others. So a hot war among Russia's elite is very much a reality at this point

Two days ago Kadyrov posted unprecedented criticism of the general staff. A few hours later I saw a video of how a brigade from Chechnia located 60 km from the frontline suffered a direct hit by a Ukrainian missile. Just wonder who provided the coordinates?

During war, everything held/owned in enemy territory is forfeited. Australia is an ally.

Which ones? I just looked at Mineral Resources and Orocobre and neither are owned by the Chinese. Orocobre’s largest shareholder is even JPM.

British Defence Intelligence
UPDATE ON UKRAINE 6 October 2022
INTELLIGENCE UPDATE

Ukraine's Armed Forces started a new phase of offensive operations in Kherson Oblast on 2 October 2022. Advancing south, Ukrainian units have pushed the front line forwards by up to an additional 20km, primarily making gains along the east bank of the Inhulets and west bank of the Dnipro, but not yet threatening the main Russian defensive positions.

Russian forces have typically broken contact and withdrawn. Russian commanders are likely to see the growing threat to the Nova Kakhovka sector as one of their most pressing concerns. The damaged river crossing over the Dnipro in this area remains one of the few routes available for them to resupply forces. Russia faces a dilemma: withdrawal of combat forces across the Dnipro makes defence of the rest of Kherson Oblast more tenable; but the political imperative will be to remain and defend.

Russia has committed the majority of its severely undermanned airborne forces, the VDV, to the defence of Kherson. Therefore, Russia currently has few additional, high quality rapidly deployable forces available to stabilise the front: it likely aims to deploy mobilised reservists to the sector.

Well that is interesting. Anyone have an idea just how close Chinese aircraft get when they’ve been doing this?

I believe the last time I looked that number was close to 1000. But Taiwan's ADIZ extends into China's mainland, so I don't know how to contextualize that number. There was a large incursion of 25 military aircraft, including attack aircraft, over Pratas Island in Feb. 2021 and most of the intrusions appear in the southern portion of the ADIZ, which isn't on the Chinese mainland.

Yeah really “impressive.” A cold blooded assassination of a civilian non-combatant because of the contents of her father’s academic work. That’s not “impressive,” that’s murder. That’s terrorism. That’s a war crime. But it’s also par for the course for the criminal Kiev regime.

Lol her father's 'academic' work. If you want war, you'll get war my man.

Australia’s AVZ Minerals Ltd and China's Zijin Mining Group Co. are battling it out in court over which country owns Manano, the largest untapped lithium deposit in the world. Currently, AVZ has retained control. This deposit is located in the Democratic Republic of Congo

Yeah I think it’s over 1,000 times, just curious as to how close they’ve been getting to Taiwan with respect to the new redline of 12 mi. Curious if 12 mi is closer than they’ve been flying when they’ve been doing it, or if in fact it limits what they’ve already been doing because say they’ve been getting within 10 miles of Taiwan.

The 12 miles thing is nautical miles, which is 14 miles or 22 km from their 'baseline,' or the low-water mark of a coastal area. That is extremely close. I'm pretty sure that the ADIZ, which China has violated, doesn't include incursions within the nautical boundaries, as the Taiwanese can at least see them and will also move to intercept well-before the beginning of their territorial waters.

Here's an interesting graphic that was published in a WSJ article discussing how Ukraine has benefited from battlefield captures of Russian equipment.

context...drone is looking down on russian trench...drops grenade which hits one of the soldiers directly in the head but doesn explode because his head was too soft to detonate

he just falls over, knock out
LINK

its only funny cause he wasnt killed.

its frickign sickening that russia is sending all of these men essentially to slaughter at this point for no reason other than ego.
