bamarep I hear you but here is the disconnect.

The immigrants who came through Ellis Island wanted a better life for themselves, there were no safety nets other than other immigrants or churches.

Today's immigrants see exactly what you mentioned, the vast amount of social programs, PARTICULARLY if you birth a child in the US before you can be deported.

When Trump put in "wait in Mexico" they did their best rendition of Forrest Gump, stopped running and simply went home, they had no wish to follow the rules THOSE PEOPLE WERE ALREADY FOLLOWING THE RULES to become a citizen. The border became a trickle.

We should be welcoming with open arms (sans the chinese) the foreign students who are actually going to university to stay and become citizens, rights for the Indian programmers who are now just slave labor for the "altruistic" IT firms, not a bunch of hooligan ms13 misfits.

I agree blanket open borders is bad, and I completely understand that a lot of the money filters back to Mexico. I don’t agree that they are taking jobs, most Americans are not going to get up and pick fruit for 12 hours a day. If they did, there would not be the eagerness for immigrant workers to come here. We benefit from that cheap labor quite a bit.

I think the Republican Party just assumes because a person is not a 50 year old white guy that a conservative message won’t work. I think if there was a more supportive message the perceived negative could turn into a positive. Just my opinion. I have been wrong many times on these macro issues lol.

Big disconnect there to Norfolk. Do a lot of immigrants pick fruit, sure they do.

But you want a construction job, plumbing, wiring, most any skilled labor done. Head to your nearest home depot parking lot and ask one of the group there if they want the job. Offer them shat money and they will just laugh, you will pay the going rate.

The savings in labor is not having to pay SS, medicare, unemployment, insurance etc, thats where the employer saves the money and the employee makes it, and you can fire them without three lawyers showing up at your doorstep with 15 white people protesting.

I’m sure some Democrat officials have already registered as many as possible. That’s the ace up their sleeve for November. Of course we will have to have all mail in ballots.

I thought citizenship was defined in the constitution. There is a mechanism for changing the constitution and there is not time for that prior to mid terms.

Democrats are going to end up regretting this. These people are fleeing countries because of their liberal policies. They’ve seen first hand what damage and corruption it causes. Most of these will end up voting Republican.

Were you paying attention in the 90s? 000? Teens ? Just a carrot on a stick to keep the masses shaking their fists at the news media and puppets in Washington.
This is will not be addressed in your or my lifetime. Way too much deep state cash flow comes from it staying illegal.
Here’s another tidbit , your vote , my vote or an illegal’s don’t mean jack shite and hasn’t for a long time. Whoever the money wants to be in office is who will be in office.

Our nation has already been conquered. We just didn't notice when it was happening because we were distracted by the outrage and fear porn from our msm and controlled opposition that was being pumped out 24/7.

As far as assuming mass citizenship is going to help Dems, your assuming a majority of non English speaking people who have no understanding or commitment to our election process, are going to not only register to vote but show up as a voting bloc. I just don’t see it happening that way.

Free shite buys a lot of votes.

Just saying.

Read the post, if they are threatened with deportation how do you think they will vote then?

If you are qualified for deportation then it would seem to me that it would be illegal for them to vote anyway.

When I lived in Texas, I had an employee who had come across in the 60s. He lived in the valley for 20 years before the excess became too much. He would say that the dems meet people at the border and give them the skinny... Azul solamente. The blue is for the working man and the red is the elite party (which you'll never be allowed, same as from where you came).

They don't need these folks to figure out how to do anything, they are just wound up and pointed in a direction.
