The players quit because we had no coach named yet and they didn’t want to risk injury or eligibility. That culture predominates college football today in all conferences.

We are also thin and young at a lot of places

We have had some very key injuries that have hurt what little depth we have

Ok fair enough. So 7-6 is good enough for Kelley’s first year. Still very doable. So why all the melt downs on here?

Ok well let’s also see how Heupel does next year. Lots of coaches can look good with a 6th year quarterback. Look what Orgeron did in one year with burrow and Orgeron obviously wasn’t the answer.

We are trying to rebuild our brand. It’s about a lot more than one year.

Ummmm, that's the point. Tenn was run into the ground over a long period of time and Heupel appears to have reversed that damage in just his 2nd season. Tenn was way worse off than LSU.

Kelly is not going to run the program into the ground. He is not Dooley. Patience, people. Patience.

Well well well then he better get the f out the way and hire someone young that can get us in this age of college football.

Tennessee self imposed a scholly limit of 72 I believe until this academic began. Heupel wasn’t able to participate in the portal much. They only signed a couple portal transfers He can this coming year.

7-6 in 2021

Work the portal while bringing your HS recruits.

BK is doing that, but retards think LSU should be “back” in his first 8months

Not necessarily Heupel. It’s his system. At least he’s smart enough to choose a good offense to run.

UT was in way worse shape then LSU when he took over. Not only were they bad but almost every starter transfered out. People on here have no clue.

Because they have an elite QB. And at least an average Oline

And where did they get that elite QB from? And who developed him?

Heupel better send Fuente a Christmas Card this year for Hooker.

The QB, not OM former coach pastime
