Correct me if I am wrong, but if Bama gets into the playoffs by some bs miracle, we would go to the Sugar and UT to the Orange, correct?

I doubt Bama gets in, but in the event that TCU gets blown out, it would be nice to have some upside.

It could happen. Ohio St now in after Utah crushed USC. Kansas State beats TCU tomorrow, which is very possible, the Crimson Tide could be #4 in the CFP playoff. BTW, possible psychological advantage for our Tigers versus Georgia tomorrow when the Bulldogs realize a match up versus Alabama could be looming in the playoffs. Might look ahead.

If I understand correctly the highest ranked non-playoff SEC team goes to the Sugar Bowl. Even if LSU were to win tomorrow would we jump that many spots to get back ahead of bama?

F@&$ that! Why would any LSU fan root for Bama to make playoffs so we can make a better bowl game? Never.....never.....they lost to us and Tennessee, they have zero business in the playoffs!

If the SEC champion is not in the playoff. Otherwise, the SEC Champ goes to the sugar.

LSU's only path to the new years 6 is winning tomorrow. They won't be considered at 9-4. If Bama somehow back doors into the playoffs with UGA, Tennessee goes to the Sugar Bowl. There are many other teams that would fill the rest of the new years 6 bowls before a 4 loss LSU.

As much as we think everyone loves bama, Ohio st is loved that much more. It’s like the criteria was built for everyone else except them. They literally lost the one game they couldn’t and will get in. If TCU would have lost 1 regular season game, there would be absolutely no chance the Big 12 gets in.

If Bama gets into the Playoff, there is NO silver lining for LSU. Anyone who suggests so is a simpleton.
