Why not just put this in the game thread? ...
If he didn't play football for LSU, and if LSU wasn't thin at running back, absolutely no one on this board would care about him or his issues. If he played for Alabama, no one would be in his corner, and everyone knows that. He got himself into this mess. Let the legal system play out. Until the...
Holly got himself into this whole mess. It's no one else's fault but his. If he misses a year or more, it's entirely on him. LSU will likely have to go with three running backs and a walk on, and THAT'S entirely on them....
The constant whining about ads on the outfield walls must come from people who have never really watched baseball. Watch home games of the Houston Astros or Atlanta Braves if you want to really see ads. If you go to Yankee Stadium, you'll see ads plastered on everything that doesn't move. The ...

For a recent baseball game, he apparently couldn't get a ticket behind home plate, so he sat behind the dugout. He just sat and watched. Didn't jump up with every pitch. Didn't holler and scream. He simply sat there and watched, and didn't seem especially interested. He doesn't care unless he ...
I'm sure there were a few who wanted him at LSU, but I have to believe most of them were actually Ole Miss fans who wanted him out of Oxford....

This is a tough crowd. Even Skenes and Crews weren't perfect...though Skenes was pretty close today....

Just keeping all the top receivers in Louisiana is fine...until it isn't. Louisiana used to be flush with defensive linemen, but there came a stretch where that has dried up for a spell. We've seen long stretches when Louisiana hasn't produced top quarterbacks like it once did. The state hasn't b...
I'm rooting for Skenes

hope he gets rocked
Talk about not even knowing your own mind. Why not root for a game like the last one? Skenes pitches well, then the Pittsburgh bullpen blows it. See, that's not so difficult to understand, is it?...
Florida is losing to Georgia 1-4
They're losing 4-1....
I agree that it could be great for recruiting. It's not like LSU would fly over the day of the game and fly back as soon as the game is over. The team would likely spend a week in Ireland, and there would undoubtedly be an itinerary that included lots of activities planned by the city of Dublin. ...
Having three scholarship running backs is obviously very light. Even four isn't a huge cushion if you plan to have a team that can compete for championships. Just like any other position, running backs generally take time to adjust to the speed and experience of the SEC, the blocking duties, ball...
This team has no business going to the post season
So anonymous posters on a message board are determining who should and shouldn't be in the regionals? Great! I vote for the Tigers to be in a regional....and hosting! Thank you so, so much for explaining the "Message Board Votin...

re: My rotation thoughts for this weekend

Give Herring, Jump and Holman a shot. Nothing at all has worked in a third game of any series. Gut out the first two games and give yourself a fighting chance to finish it off with Holman. I don't have confidence in anything we've tried before, so maybe this rotation revitalizes everyone....
She's already more successful and accomplished than someone named Uncle Diddles. Just imagine how far ahead of you she'll be with another year of college gymnastics and a degree....

re: How do you season your scrambled eggs?

Posted by BillF on 5/13/24 at 5:35 pm
I use salt and pepper on fried eggs, but no pepper on scrambled eggs, and I have no idea why. I guess it just didn't "look" right. Since I put pepper on other things, I don't see any reason it wouldn't be just fine on scrambled eggs. I have a friend who eats his scrambled eggs with ketchup, but I've...
Since we don't play Mississippi State, it's going to be difficult to lose that one....
Ah, perhaps some of my law school professors may have thought I was a bit simple-minded, and maybe my ex-wife, but that's their cross to shoulder. I compared his record/track at LSU to that of Orgeron as a head coach here, and they are very similar in terms of championships followed by dramatic d...
Lester, you're as confused as much as you are in most of your 300,000 posts. Johnson's path is presently tracking the same as Orgeron's at LSU. Whether he continues that track is entirely up to him, not me, you, or anyone else on this board....
