Mingo won’t like this one fricking bit
Not gonna lie i stayed in the gym in HS and early college and stopped later in college. Didn’t have a dad bod but I no longer was ripped with abs, just looked normal and I got laid a lot more. A couple girls I ended up hooking up with in my mid 20s that I grew up with even told me they preferred how I looked at a normal size rather than all jacked
Said people who live in the gym are insecure and it’s a turn off to women

Nothing wrong with a dad bod as long as he can back it up with strength.

I have nothing to back this up but I suspect most women that claim to love "dad bods" could stand to lose a few pounds themselves and actually love the fact that it takes the pressure of of them to put down the fork and get off of the couch.

Your thesis doesn’t prove that it’s fake news, but actually supports the hypothesis, depending on the definition of “more attractive”.
If by saying “more attractive”, you mean it in an evolutionary way, ie more likely for the female to choose the dad bod over the ripped abs, then you have actually agreed with the premise.

All women are insecure about their looks at least part of the time, and most of them are insecure most of the time.
It’s their evolutionarily dealt hand of cards. The whole structure of women interaction, especially with and against other women, is totally predicated on the hierarchy in the attractiveness scale.

When I took my son to see Hacksaw Ridge at the movies, 5 old women in front of us lost their shite when the buff guy was strutting around naked in boot camp. Not a peep when the skinny guys or beer guts were shirtless.
