Serious answer, I was very impressed with the transforce AT tires that come on 3/4 ton dodge. They were relatively cheap and lasted 65k miles.

Do not get Venom Power Terra Hunters. Had them for 10k miles and can’t get them to balance and has to switch back to KO2s

I second this. I went cheap last time and got the Venom Power R/T Plus tire. It looked really good, tread pattern was similar to the Nitto Ridge Grappler. But the ride was horrendous. I expected the ride to be a bit worse than a factory tire but this was bad. I’d get random shakes depending on hitting bumps in the road, truck pulled to the right a bit, road noise was worse than I thought it should have been, and I felt every bump in the road. After about 10k miles, I switched to Ridge Grapplers about a week ago and it’s a night and day difference in ride quality. Very little road noise, truck doesn’t pull anymore, and smooth as a factory tire.

I tried to cheap out and I regretted it every day I drove the truck. I won’t do it again.

Have had 4 sets of the Coopers, I know you're trying to save money but think of the install price which you will be definitely paying earlier when the cheap ones wear out.

Just switched back to ridge grapplers from trail grapplers. Loved the trails but were too loud and I put too many highway miles on my truck for the mud terrains. Order 35x11.5x20 from simpletires last week with Memorial Day sale

What type of terrain and situations do you need these tires for during hunting season?

That actually is a very good question, which would narrow it down. If its a straight hunting truck throw some m/t's on it, if its a daily driver id vote ridge grapplers as they really are the best of both worlds and quiet. As noted my toyo m/t's are as quiet but they only have like 30k miles on them so far, but they haven't worn much. My ridge grapplers were fairly new when sold and had about 10k miles on them but had 0 wear. No matter what you get just rotate and balance often and all the major brands should last you a while (with the exception of mud grapplers, never had them but ridden in trucks with them and they are badass in mud but gonna be loud from day one).

Dont get Kenda Klever's r/t's. They came on my last truck and I couldn't get them off fast enough. Granted they were used and obviously had some miles on them but they were loud af.

Ironman All Country m/t are one of the loudest and worst-handling tires on the market. Avoid them unless it's just a camp truck. Toyo m/t, Firestone destination m/t,or Nitto ridge grapplers would be my choice for a daily driver, in descending order of aggressiveness. You get what you pay for..

Cooper supposedly has some good a/t's and m/t's but I have no personal experience.

I’ll never buy another tire that isn’t a Cooper. Had Mts and Ats on my trucks and wife’s suv and they are the best value and longest lasting tires I’ve ever owned.

I’ve been very happy with my Cooper tires- started w ST Max and now have Rugged Treks. I would have no problem trying their MT tires. Both have had great traction on and off road and good wear over time.

Putting a set of Firestone Destinations on my sons Trailboss this Friday. $300 rebate, so $1400 and change with mount and balance.

Falkan AT3W - all the oil companies run them on their pickups up here in the Bakken. I have a set on my Chevy 3500HD and they have been great. Much better than the Cooper AT3 XLT I had on previously.

I picked up some Michelin AT2 takeoffs for my f250.

They were cheap and had 1000 miles on them.

They have been great tires. Every hunting season so far (3) and have had no problem at the lease. Pulled my cargo box and a trailer with a tractor/bush hog plenty of times.

Not gotten stuck once.

I'll buy them again.

Yeah I see a lot of coopers and have some buddies that swear by them. I'd consider some if I was currently in the market.

I’ve had Predator MT 35x12.5 on a F150 for about 10k so far. Too early too determine durability, but they ride excellent and have performed as expected in sloppy conditions.
